Are you able to share with us how much post processing went into this? It looks like it's pretty much out of the camera and tweaked in level or curve, but I suspect there's more to it than that.

Well thank you Andy. In terms of bending curves and layers this is indeed very much out of the camera, but there is a surprise with this image that I'm prepared to share for the lesson that it provides. It also demonstrates, IMO, something about the 24mm lens and indeed the M8.

 

If it's just for you, I'll send it by PM as it could lead to ...... :rolleyes: . If others state an interest here, I'll post it on this thread.
