stevem7 Posted September 27, 2006 Author Share #8 Posted September 27, 2006 Thanks. The weight of the Noct does not bother me at all. I used to have a 5D and 85 1.2L - That was MUCH heavier and bulkier and I carried that around for hours at a time. Yea, the Noct is heavier and bigger than the summicron, BUT its not nearly as big as a D2x with 17-55 2.8 lens. I enjoy taking the M7 out with a 50 cron - much lighter and easier to carry around, but the Noctilux is in no way too big. The negatives of this lens are its minimum focus distance and slow focus, BUT its image quality is super from F1-F11. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Good point you brought up...I like heavy cameras - seems to defeat the purpose of using the M of course. I must now search for sea-sickness inducing Noct images.
