Advertisement Posted September 19, 2006 Posted September 19, 2006 Hi JHAG, Take a look here Waiting for the Sun 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmr Posted September 19, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2006 Johan, a very strong image with a lot of emotion in it.
stuny Posted September 19, 2006 Share #3 Posted September 19, 2006 Johan - This is an interesting departure for you -- I'm used to seeing your photos in "People". the combination of the "dead" trees (Yes, I yes budding) against the powerful sky is very ominous. I think, though it could use just a touch of brightening.
farnz Posted September 20, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 20, 2006 Johan, I'm attracted by the powerful, brooding quality of this image and to brighten it would weaken it (apologies, Stuart). The juxtaposition of the sharpness of the bird in flight and the softness of the sun's rays provide both the focal point and the illusion of depth. IMHO: art. JHAG Posted September 21, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted September 21, 2006 @farnz : Thank you for the brooding quality ;-) @stuny : I'm afraid I will agree with farnz, if you don't mind. Johan
