fernando_b Posted February 15, 2008 Share #6 Posted February 15, 2008 Guys, these deserve to be posted in the "Technology" section of the photo forum. THESE, at their times (and even later), were state of the art optical and mechanical technology! Fernando.
biglouis Posted February 15, 2008 Share #7 Posted February 15, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Doug, there is nothing quite like the patina of a well used camera. In your case, put to very good use given the photos in LFI this month. LouisB

wizard Posted February 15, 2008 Share #11 Posted February 15, 2008 Save on gym membership - use an SL2 with motordrive!! James, now that you mention this, I had this very sample in my hands (including the motor drive) and was simply stunned at how well it handles. It's not a lightweight, that's for sure, but it is so well balanced that it just feels right, and not downright heavy. You are actually able to hold fairly long exposure times steady, say 1/30s for example. From the looks alone you couldn't tell it handles so well, and in fact would be tempted to swear otherwise Cheers, Andy
