JBA Posted September 8, 2008 Share #107 Posted September 8, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yesterday, I was walking around my usual haunt in Ginza, Tokyo with my M6 and SL2 shooting merrily away, when I met a Japanese guy with an identical SL2 coming in the opposite direction. We became fast friends. It's remarkable how many people strike up conversations with me over the Leicas. They're really more than just cameras. samwells Posted November 4, 2008 Share #115 Posted November 4, 2008 "Come on guys! We are only at post 114." Oh, all right then, here's my modest R4S Mod 2 - liberated recently from Red Dot Cameras for what amounted to petty cash, compared to the last M lens I bought :-) cheers: Sam Welcome, dear visitor! Guest User 42869 Posted January 31, 2009 Share #118 Posted January 31, 2009 Hello everybody, I guess that's just the right theme for me... I'm 23 years old and I don't have a Leica M, I only use the "classic" R-System. So my basics are a Leitz Leica R4 und R5. I really enjoy to take photos with those amazingly well-designed and durable SLR-cameras, so there's no need for an M-camera either...! Here are two pictures of my R4 and R5 with some lenses (not all the stuff I have, of course...) Welcome, dear visitor! A nice girl with a nice camera, maybee both are the right choice for an Leica-Fan... Have a good time by taking photos of Leica-Photographers, 'cause that's really interesting (also the man with the R-E)!
