Leica Perspective Control (LPC) with the MEV1

An interesting feature of the MEV1 is Leica Perspective Control (LPC) which works with the M11 in LV mode as well. The camera draws digital framelines (also referred to as "crop lines" by some colleagues here) in the EVF to allow for composition inside the lines and viewing outside of them if needed. 1st pic below shows the uncorrected view outside the framelines, 2nd pic the corrected view inside of them.

Nice that Leica implemented this function also in the MEV1.

I also have the impression that the perspective data is always saved in to the DNG and LRC use it to correct perspective.
Only JPG files will be corrected in-camera and then saved corrected, DNG's save only the data and LR use it later to correct perspective automatically or manually.
Not sure if same applies to the M10/M11/MEV, but i guess so.

However, a very useful tool from correcting not horizontal photos up to correcting architectural photos wit a surprising accuracy/quality

Yes the same applies for both MEV1 and M11 in LV mode as well.

I think LPC is a brilliant technology that I wish other cameras had, too. I do not remember when it started, but all the latest Q, SL, and M series have that feature implemented.

Unfortunately, only Adobe supports it.
