I have never seen an l to m adapter. The mountain to film plane distance means you would need an optical element and the l mount is larger so you couldn’t get inside the m mount to move it closer. Also I don’t recall aperture rings on l lenses so that’s a problem too . I think the reverse is true. Many sl user adapt their m lenses to the sl, smaller lenses generally so if the size of the body isn’t an issue and you only want occasional AF the sl makes sense.
