FrozenInTime Posted October 2 Share #5 Posted October 2 A suggestion that Kodacolor 100 is no more than a rebranding of ProImage 100, and Kodacolor 200 is ColorPlus.

105012 Posted Thursday at 11:43 AM Share #7 Posted Thursday at 11:43 AM Advertisement (gone after registration) What’s interesting to me at the moment is that it is sold by Eastman Kodak, not Kodak Alaris. Anyone know more about that?

Anyone know more about that? It appears, from what I have been reading, that the exclusive distribution deal between Eastman Kodak and Alaris has expired, and Kodak has been quietly building up a distribution network of their own. I've also read we can expect to see all of EK's films to be repackaged (as Alaris owns those old packaging designs). Same names, but new packaging. Probably some slight price decreases, too. Pro Image 100 was a film packaged for the asian market, originally, and then was pushed everywhere by Alaris. Now it will be sold as Kodacolor 100 by EK. Kodacolor 200 is Color Plus, which was a marketing name invented by Alaris.
Bliz Posted Friday at 09:11 PM Share #9 Posted Friday at 09:11 PM (edited) Good for Eastman Kodak, but as long as I can buy vision 3 for 7 euro/36exp I doubt I’ll buy anything else. Edited Friday at 09:12 PM by Bliz
