Viktor Long Posted August 18 Share #1 Posted August 18 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks, guys. I'm back with another question. I have a Voigtlander 15mm f4.5 lens (version 2, leica M mount), the front and rear elements seem to be loosely connected. The front element, which is integrated with the hood, is slightly loose and can be shaken about a millimeter. I've heard this is a common problem (wobble? Maybe) with Voigtlander lenses. I'm wondering if this issue will affect standard imaging. I'm concerned it could cause optical axis distortion. if the video files can be seen, you will find the problem. I need some assurance as to whether this problem affects the shot? copy_1E733FEE-74B5-4FFD-93FA-E27B4BE87711.mov

lct Posted August 18 Share #4 Posted August 18 Not a common issue, as far as my copy is concerned, which is free from it. You may wish to check if the optical cell wobbles when you grab the lens by the hood.

Others, as you said, are solid. Perhaps there's some malfunction here.

I purchased it twice, and each time the sample had varying degrees of looseness.
