Yestarday my SL2 begun to shoot in “interval” mode without I said her to do it. Sude my the cañero begun shooting one photo each two seconds. IItvtookme some minutes to realize what was happening, and when I set the one shot mode… it return to interval after swithc of the camera, incluye when she was to inactivity state…

I don‘y know what happened. I save the situation returning to the user configuración… Each time the camera we y to inactivity.

Now I have reser the camera to factory configuración and the problem has dissapear but….  ¿Do you have some related problem? ¿Should I send the camera to service?

It is a computer with a lens - it may have been a gremlin or a bug. If it behaves normally now, I would just wait and see whether it repeats itself.

That's your problem right there, it's 'her', the Titanic was a 'her' and look what happened to that!

These things often happen to me. It's usually because (a) I have had too many glasses of wine (b) something distracted me while I was making a minor menu change (c) one of my grandsons found the camera at 5.30 am.

You probably set that mode accidentally. Since it's not a feature that you are accustomed to (perhaps you've never used it before), you wouldn't know how to turn it off.

That's probably happened to every one of us, with all types of devices. Especially phones and notebooks, but also cameras, microwaves, etc. I'm sure that every user of the original SL accidentally switched to video mode a few times: it's an unlabelled button, and the main menu doesn't say that you are in video mode.

Can you try setting the camera to interval mode again, and back to single-shot mode? It could be that you found a bug. If so, and if you are using the current firmware (6.2.0 for the SL2 as-of today), you should report it to Leica.

The SL bodies have the best implementation of saving user settings I've seen.  I have half a dozen different named settings.  As BernardC points out It is easy to accidentely change a setting and experience unexpected camera behavior.  One clue to if I accidententally changed something is that the settings I loaded will no longer show as active. When that happen I just reload the user settings and all is well.

No. I change the mode to single shoot and when the camera goes standby and return to active it is again in intervalo mode. I change the mode to single shoot, switchbon the camera and again it goes to intervalo mode. I have find a solución: to reset the camera to factory. It is not I don’t know How to configure the camera,?It seems a fail.

Yes.

The problem is probably in the user profiles.  The trick is to set the camera to all the settings you prefer and save as a user profile. If desired rename the profile.  You can always recall that profile in the first (icon) menu.
