BruceRH Posted February 14 Share #3 Posted February 14 (edited) Looks to be tempting, comes with a nice hood and clear filter. https://www.cosina.co.jp/voigtlander/en/vm-mount/color-skopar-35mm-f3-5-aspherical/ Edited February 14 by BruceRH
UliWer Posted February 14 Share #4 Posted February 14 1:3.5/3.5cm Elmar modernized. If it came with LTM-mount it might appeal to me. So I am content that I have the Heliar 40mm f/2.8 in LTM.
earleygallery Posted February 14 Share #5 Posted February 14 Interesting but I'm very happy with my 35 f2.5 Skopar. I really don't know why VC stopped making lenses in LTM, such a shame.

UliWer Posted February 14 Share #7 Posted February 14 Advertisement (gone after registration) It seems there was not enough demand for the LTM versions of the recent lenses. It‘s funny that they propose choosing f-stops with the hood. I wonder whether the hood will fit on a 35mm Elmar or Summaron and the Leica FOOKH will fit on the Voigtländer.

UliWer Posted February 15 Share #9 Posted February 15 Yes, funny again that they „copied“ the old 35mm Elmar also in this.
lct Posted February 15 Share #10 Posted February 15 Does the LTM Summaron 35/3.5 have this same aperture ring? Just curious.

No - it's a separate aperture ring turning the 'right' way (sorry for quick phone snap). Welcome, dear visitor! TomB_tx Posted February 15 Share #12 Posted February 15 I believe the aperture ring turns the "right" way - it's just that the numbers are on the lens barrel and the index on the aperture ring. Turn the ring fully "to the right" in either case and the lens is wide open. 4
UliWer Posted February 15 Share #13 Posted February 15 Yes. As the front element turns around when you focus you may see the aperture engravings in a position where they look "right way": Welcome, dear visitor! NWPhoto Posted March 9 Share #17 Posted March 9 I am very interested in this given it's a 35, and I like the black version. I like that it's brass too. You'd think I'd go for the silver for the MP 240 Safari, but I really like how easy it is to see all the engraved indicators on the black.
Smudgerer Posted March 9 Share #18 Posted March 9 I have the new version of the 35mm Color Skopar, black ver'II f2.5 and I like it a lot.........Perfect on a M body with a decent bayonet mount lens hood it makes a great easy-carry combination with film or digital, it's performance too is nothing to shake a stick at. Recommend it.
