I need to clarify, after download bar finished, it’s error sign

i havent been able to download successfully hence my gallery is empty.. even when i enabled the background transfer, i could see it’s tranferring only to get error

I see, that's weird. iOS or Android? On the latest iOS, you may have to grand permission to FOTOS to access your Photos, which is required for FOTOS to save to the Leica Gallery. I think the Leica Gallery is simply showing you the photos in the Photos app that it downloaded there.

If it's not an access issue, then you may want to try completely deleting the app off the phone and setting up the connection to the camera again.

Just wanted to say that the new firmware works like magic when compared to other camera system (like Canon that I also use to send pictures to my phone when in hurry).

Wow the pictures is there when I go to my Iphone and want to send the pictures to client. Fantastic. Good job Leica.

Does someone know why with the Leica app can't shoot more than a single photo. Despite the camara Is set for continues, interval or bracketing shooting, the app only takes one photo

yes, one photo at a time. use something else that can do that if needed.

In other words, one can't take a bracketing photo, with the Leica App. Thanks

Sure looks that way.  You can use the app to modify the camera setting for bracketing, but the setting is ignored when using the app to trip the shutter.

I wonder the reasoning for that?

Nice firmware update. I have noticed one 'anomaly' though. I normally shoot with live view turned off/disabled. However I've noticed with the new firmware if you choose to format the camera storage in the Fotos app, once it has finished formatting, live view is enabled again. Not really a big issue of course, as I don't reformat that often and I can press Fn to turn it off again, just wondering if anyone else has seen the same and whether the format command is resetting other settings as well?

Have you reset the camera after update?

Do you work in tech support? - that's always their first answer :D Seriously though, no I didn't. I have never done so in the past. I know the instructions suggest this, but until I experience a real problem by not doing so (and I don't really consider this issue a problem), I shall continue as-is.

This limitation could be resolved by Leica, in the future.

Many thanks for your help.

fotos app will reset every time you preview a photo.

in capture one you can do all of that with no problem,

Leica has not implemented any other mode in 6 years

why take leicas advice to reset the camera? you probably don't jump if someone tell you to jump.

just keep in mind no to complain of malfunction before you reset. LOL

Hello. I have a M11-D and managed to update the firmware via the app seamlessly. Though the wifi transfer is set to 2.8. Does any one know how i can change it to 5gHz ? Much appreciated if anyone can help me with this enquiry. Thank you.

there is a combination of steps in the red LED menu, you best read up on your manual.

It’s in the menu under camera settings.

Edit - I am not familiar with the M11-D, and I’m not sure of the interface through FOTOS for various menu settings. On the M11, you can easily access this setting via the on screen menu, but I don’t see it in FOTOS (although there is a camera settings section in FOTOS). Hopefully the setting is present in the FOTOS interface for the M11-D.

It might be the delay involved with Bluetooth and the time it takes for the file to transfer to the camera. Theoretically the camera could maybe buffer and store but apparently it's not. Maybe file it as a feature request?

It's not. A camera reset normally puts it back to 5 however
