My Leica Q343 also frozen twice since I've updated to FW 3.0. But I don't have to remove the battery, just waiting a few minute(s). Seems to be a temporary issue while writing on SSD-Card. Never had this problem before updating to FW 3.0

Happens to me as well. Especially if the camera goes into low power mode/standby after 1-2 minutes.

Back again...years later...on both my Q3 43 and my Q2M, when I long press a button hoping to change the "action" of the button, all I get is a screen showing what "action" is currently selected.  I don't get the full range of possible "actions" in order to make a change.

Help!!

You can choose which options are shown when you long press a button, do you by any chance have all but one option turned off?

No problem.  That’s actually one of my favorite things about the Q3.  Not only can we choose what we want to assign to a button by long pressing it, we can choose which options we want to pick between as well.

Basically, before updating, take a photo and leave it in the root directory on the SD card. Update the firmware. Take another photo. The count should continue from the photo you already had on the card.

I don’t believe anything can be done once the counter has been reset.

Are you sure that photo needs to be in the root directory. I've recently been advised that it should be in the usual location (DCIM then 100 LEICA)?
