Congratulations to Andy, Simon and Pete for those terrific images. And of course to all the other participants who joined in.

Now looking forward to catching up with everyone again next year in Palma.

Special note to Ravi, John and Pete: why the hell didn't you take my request seriously and leave your Q3 43's at home. After seeing yours and reading the reviews I'm seriously thinking about buying one.

Cheers, Tom

Congratulations to Andy, Simon and Pete!

Well done to everyone, there wasnt a bad photo amongst the entrants and casting only 3 votes was really hard.

The winning photo was a template of composition. the balance is so very good and I wish a similar image i took that weekend was half as good.

@lanetomlane I am so sorry :D :D :D .   Its a terrible camera and you would be better buying a Sony RX1 (?)

Further to my post above; sorry for not voting and the late response, but we've had a rough couple of weeks. We both went for a Covid jab one Friday morning about four weeks ago, I felt rough about 9:00pm and so went to bed and slept for 12 hours and found Eileen on the floor in the hall the following morning; she had evidently fallen down the stairs and damaged her shoulder. We went to A&E thinking we'd have to wait 3 or 4 hours; then she'd have her shoulder strapped up and we'd be out in about 20 minutes. However, when they checked her in they suspected she'd had a heart attack and so kept her in hospital.

She's now home and apart from the shoulder feels fine, but the hospital are doing further tests as they still think there's something wrong with her heart. We're both convinced she's as fit as a horse.

I've been bound to domestic duties and can now use a washing machine and iron. I tried to heat the iron on gas fire until Eileen told me it plugged in, didn't realise it was electric; what happened to the old days?

Cheers

Oh, Tom, I'm so sorry to hear about Eileen's fall!  I hope she's comfortable, getting better quickly, and that the medical staff were just being cautious.

By the way, remember to put the dinner plates into the washing machine before the trousers or the plates could come out with grass stains on them.  It's very hard to get grass stains out of dinner plates and sometimes the only way is to take them into the bath with you and get the loofah onto them.

Pete.

That’s a lot to deal with, Tom! Hope Eileen recovers as quick as you have and no nasty things will be discovered.

Very best to you both from Marilyn and myself.  Here's hoping that Eileen is indeed as fit as a horse!

PS: When we were looking at electric irons in Zimbabwe in 1982, you had to buy the more expensive de luxe model to get a thermostat.

Congratulations to Andy, Simon and Pete.
Those are great images you took in Nice.
The winning image is a 100% keeper to put on the wall!
As we see that M240 is a great camera. I love it as well combined with a 50 Lux.

@lanetomlane: all the best to Eileen, wishing her a speedy recovery!

See you next year in Palma!
