Timmyjoe Posted September 26, 2024 Share #5 Posted September 26, 2024 Yeah, Color really works with her skin tone, hair and eyes. Nicely done. Best, -Tim
Viv Posted September 26, 2024 Share #6 Posted September 26, 2024 Nice enough, but her stance is awkward - one shoulder lower than the other.
Timmyjoe Posted September 26, 2024 Share #7 Posted September 26, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Eye of the beholder, I love that one shoulder is lower than the other, adds interest. 2

It gives the composition a subtle (and IMHO, graceful) S curve. Classic. 1

Taste is different, both shoulders on the same level would look boring to me, but for sure I do not want to persuade you. vor 6 Stunden schrieb Timmyjoe: Eye of the beholder, I love that one shoulder is lower than the other, adds interest. stuny Posted September 27, 2024 Share #12 Posted September 27, 2024 I agree with all the above (except dislike for the shoulder heights) and add that the minimal weight of the light and color really add a great deal.

Even shoulders would have made her look wooden, lifeless and a cut-out against the plain(ish) background.

fotografr Posted October 24, 2024 Share #19 Posted October 24, 2024 I agree with all of the positive comments. This is a superb model portrait. I like the shoulder tilt because it creates a casual mood, rather than a stiff formal one. Everything about this shot works for me. Cheers, Brent
