That is a terrific shot. Did you use a tripod? I would find it difficult to keep it camera steady at 1/6th second.

Thanks Beresford, my elbows were on the table as support ( I was sitting in the next table to him ).  1/6 is challenging I agree with you.

Photos taken with the Elmar at f2.8 have the typical vintage character if you don't increase the contrasts considerably with the slider during post-processing. I like this vintage character very much, although at first glance the images look quite unspectacular compared to more modern shots. As soon as you stop down, the contrast and sharpness return to the usual normal range.

Reason why this thread is about the Elmar-M i guess. The last time i shot with the Elmar was in 1996 when i bought my M6J with the first Elmar-M 50/2.8.
