The 28 is €6250 on the continent, am I right? It's £5550 as standard here, so about £300 more, so I suppose we could be looking at £5950/£5999 for the 43 in the UK (€6750 = £5630, then tack on an extra £300 again).

My dealer already let me play with it a little, but have to wait till 15:00 to be able to walk out the door with it 🫠 The grey color isn’t bad at all, quite a bit darker than the leaked images. 2

Looks like they let me drive it without a licence then. I thoroughly enjoyed using that cam. Absolutely no issues locking up or anything. Just set the camera once and off you go. The colour rendition is beautiful. The only reason I sold (and shouldn't have) is I needed a lighter camera due to physical constraints.

I still have V. 4.7.1. No Q3.43 or Chrome look in Leica Looks. I don't know if they update by country, as I am currently in France. No apps pending update shown in App Store either. Fotos last updated 17 September for the M11D and cable connection. Wilson Edited September 26, 2024 by wlaidlaw

Levacy Posted September 26, 2024 Share #718 Posted September 26, 2024 FYI Macro does not work with a B+W nano filter, the new hood is very tight no room for play. I heard the hood doesn't work at all with the Lieca filter too but not confirmed

40mm f/2 Posted September 26, 2024 Share #720 Posted September 26, 2024 (edited) I looked for the technical lens data on Leica’s website but could not find anything. The only for me interesting technical information I could find is in “macro” mode the maximum magnification is 1:4, even slightly less than the 28mm. Definitely an issue for me (not expecting a real macro) but not even sufficient to do wildflowers. One could always add a closeup lens (with the hood removed) but that is not exactly a convenient if one likes to make close ups more than occasionally Edited September 26, 2024 by 40mm f/
