Panda428 Posted June 28, 2024 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just got my Leica sl today, everything looks fine but when i start shooting, i found out that the photos sooc are pretty blue tint style, even the live view and evf turn blue as well, i tried several option from white balance, but does not help at all. funny is when i press the grey card on the front, everything turns normal, color seems quite right, but once i press down shutter and take photos, it turns bluish tint again. does anybody know what is going on there? thank you so much. I'll upload some sample down below. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Panda428 Posted June 28, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted June 28, 2024 tried pretty much every type of WB, but nothing changed.
Sandokan Posted June 28, 2024 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2024 I would try this. Set it to B&W and then compare the JPEG to DNG file.
Indeepthought Posted June 28, 2024 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2024 Basic first question:- are the windows tinted? I would do a full reset on the camera, then use a different lens and do some more test shots… Outside shots would be beneficial.. 🍷

Jonathan Levin Posted June 28, 2024 Share #8 Posted June 28, 2024 So was this a previously owned SL? The reason I ask is maybe there were settings adjusted by someone else. As was mentioned above, do a complete reset of camera, then reset up and let us know if that does any good. And if that doesn't work, talk to whoever you got it from. Yeah, already did several times, funny thing is when at night, especially for indoor shooting, everything seems normal, color is quite right, even little bit warm, but once turn into outdoor daytime shooting, the white balance immediately gets bluish, kinda drives me crazy. jaapv Posted June 28, 2024 Share #12 Posted June 28, 2024 Strangely enough it seems that night shots are OK. But a cyan cast in AWB is weird. Hence my suggestion of a gray card setting. I would like to see the LAB curves. It is a very strange histogram totally underexposed in red and completely flat otherwise.
