Can anyone recommend a wide angle Voigtländer lens for indoor, landscape and architecture? I don’t use this that often but I sometimes miss such an option in my lens kit.

because of that I don’t want to invest that much money. Thanks a lot!

21 f/4 LTM version.  Small, cheap, good quality, etc.

I bought it for  reasons similar to what you outlined; occasionally want something wider than 28 but not often enough to spend Leica$.

For use with M-mount cameras, VM Color-Skopar 21/4 in M mount. Late copies have a groove on their flange for 6-bit coding.

Agreed. I was an early buyer of the M-mount version and was very pleased with it on my M9. I don't use wider than 35 very often, and this lens just tucks in a corner of my kit for when I need it. I code mine as a Leica 21 (forgot which) and the color edge corrections work well so that the sensor edge effects are hard to notice. I'm satisfied with it.

A tip: the coding corrects edges best when using low ISO (100 to 400 on M9) and are less effective at high ISO.

JFI this lens doesn't produce significant color shift artefacts on the M11 so i use 6-bit coding for archiving purpose only on this camera. Just a snap with M11 & VM 21/4 @ f4 here:

I would recommend the VM28mm f2 Ultron, a real gem with no doubt.

FM review for this lens: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1704868/0

I also heard the Nokton 28mm f1.5 is an excellent lens but never tried it myself: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1842505/0 one stop faster may help in dark environment.

Anyway this tiny lens is super sharp with rich color, love it so much.

I had the the 28 Ultron for some months. It’s a focal length I didn’t get used to. But your pictures are just wonderful!

The Voigtlander 12mm can be a fun lens.  It is not a fast lens.
