I'm about to give up on the two aftermarket "BP-SCL5" batteries I bought. I had one in my M10 for a few weeks, just taking the odd test shot every few days while it continued to show "15%" as it had since fully charging it on the M10 charger. Then yesterday the M10 wouldn't power on. So I swapped the battery for the other aftermarket one that had been charged to show 100% in the camera and stored for the same few weeks. The M10 wouldn't power on with it either.

So I put in a genuine M10 battery that was charged about the same 3 weeks ago, and the camera started right up showing 90% charge.

I had also bought a Nitecore dual M10 battery charger to try with these aftermarket batteries, so I loaded both into it. The Nitecore has a nice LCD screen that that shows details about the process including cell voltage, mA charging rate, and mAH state of charge, and an evaluation of battery condition. One battery was judged "POOR" and the other "GOOD" after letting them sequentially charge overnight. They did seem to charge up to rated voltage, and both show 100% on both the Nitecore and M10. But a complete self-discharge in 3 weeks is discouraging. So reliability is even more suspect.

I have one of the aftermarket M10 batteries and so far it works exactly like the OEM battery for the few full cycles I've run it through. I charged the battery on a Leica charger and it shows 100% and lasts about the same as the original. It also seems to accurately show the charge level as I use it. I typically recharge the battery when I'm around 20%. After a week of no use the batt dropped to 95%.

Hi, which one is it, fotagogo or Cameron sino.  Or maybe another one.

After charging the Cameron Sino battery a couple of times it now seems to be showing battery life properly in my M10. I just put the recharged Fotagogo battery in my M10R and will see if it will do the same.

With the new Sino battery, (which came at 40% charge) I discharged it down to 10% (according to the M10) and then recharged it.   I let it run down again (Leave battery save OFF, and it should take about 2-3 hours) then recharged it when at about 10%.  Each re-charge was to 100%.  I did this cycle three times, and so far the Sino has been working just like the Leica and the camera's capacity report has been accurate.

The Cameron Sino battery seems to be performing properly after a few change cycles showing remaining charge usefully in camera, but the Fotagogo still shows 100% in camera until it suddenly dies and the camera just says change battery. So I'm giving up on Fotogogo.

The fotogogo seems fit my needs though, only if i still have my m10r.. i have this anxiety seeing how many percentage left on a battery.. solution with this just to carry spare one when it died suddenly, provided it lasts as good as the OEM more or less
