Advertisement Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Hi Fotomiguel, Take a look here John Milich?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Hookeye Posted November 27, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2007 The following should work: [edit]. If you send me a personal message with your e-mail addreess, I will send you a "word" document with his price list and other details.
JimP Posted November 27, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 27, 2007 FYI... I am told he is traveling at this time (I believe should be back today). May be the reason you have not yet received an answer?
stunsworth Posted November 27, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 27, 2007 Hi Miguel, all John sends you is the document Hans mentions. This is essentially a price list and Paypal instructions. John isn't a great communicator, but his adaptors work well, and shipping is effiecient in my experience. When I received a damaged lens hood/adaptor for the Voigtlander 15mm he replaced it without any question.
etrigan63 Posted November 27, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 27, 2007 John is not fast on responding to e-mails. Too busy milling and machining I suppose. He does metal sculptures as well from what I understand.
Guest guy_mancuso Posted November 27, 2007 Share #6 Posted November 27, 2007 Johns main job is industrial design of major metal designs for architecture usually in large NY city buildings and such and yes he has a huge milling shop in Brooklyn . He is a avid shooter of leica gear and does the adapters on the side for leica M users. He is a busy guy and I am sure he will get back to you soon. Patience grasshoppers. sean_reid Posted November 27, 2007 Share #7 Posted November 27, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) One thing that we sometimes forget in the virtual world is that real people sometimes travel and are away from their computers. I'm not sure where John is now but we've just come off a holiday weekend in the USA and he may have gone away for that. John does custom metal work on a large scale for architectural and other uses; stairways, railings, etc. I'm sure that John will be back to his computer - hopefully well rested. Edit: How funny...we just posted almost the same thing at the same time. Cheers, Sean

vanhulsenbeek Posted November 28, 2007 Share #13 Posted November 28, 2007 I'm trying to contact with John Milich to buy a bayonet and the filter adapter for my cv 15mm. His web site doesn't work and I sent him a mail without answer.Anybody knows how to proceed? Thank you very much! Just got the bayonet ring for CV 15. Took a week in the mail. Ordered by Paypal on John's email address and gave all details on the Paypal form. Piece of cake. The (sturdy) UPSP enveloppe just fell in my mailbox: no Customs and VAT authorities were worried. Super value at present EUR rates! The ring is a great little piece of workmanship! Sander Amsterdam Holland

charlesphoto99 Posted November 29, 2007 Share #16 Posted November 29, 2007 I'm confused. If I want to order something from John, do I PM him here or is there a website I can order through?
Hookeye Posted November 29, 2007 Share #17 Posted November 29, 2007 John Milich has a website, but it is not operating. You will need to send him an e-mail. His e-mail address is not out in the open (see above). You can get his address by sending him a PM here, on this forum. Or if you prefer, you can PM me or any other members who have dealt with Milich recently - and we will send you the details. - Life is more fun with a bit of mystery ;-)
Rolacach Posted January 25, 2014 Share #18 Posted January 25, 2014 Goran:send me a private message on the forum and i can respond more completely. I am getting your e-mails Dear Sir, I wanted to have the 6 bits codes for a new Voigtlander super wide Heliar 15mm/4.5. But I do not know your e-mail and I can't write to you and know how to do. jaapv Posted January 25, 2014 Share #19 Posted January 25, 2014 Be careful - I had a bad experience. Do note this thread is from 2007. And please observe admin’s request about e-mail addresses. And don’t blurt your private address all over the Internet, it is not good for your privacy. If you want a lens coded use somebody like Will van Manen.
