Q3 Users: what do you think of the new Adobe Standard v2 profil?

It is both in LrC and LR. To my eyes it looks flatter and less saturated. the skin tones look better, more accurate (imho). I'm going to make this my standard profil on import. As per the thread title, what's your opinion?

Thank you. I just see it now. Normally I use "Adobe Color". As you say the colours seem to be flatter less vivid with Standard v2.  I prefer the adobe color profile.

I use this profile usually for landscape.

I quickly tried it and I might use it for photos where the colors don't need to be very bold; doesn't look half bad to my eyes, actually. Fortunately the old Adobe Standard profile is still available under the Legacy group in Lightroom Classic, otherwise photos processed with the older Adobe Standard profile would be signaled to have the profile missing.

The correct Adobe profile for the Q3 is called Embedded

Embedded profile is a Legacy profile (avoid?). I do not believe there is a "correct" profile.

Thanks @FusionX.Photo for the link and the info. I did not know about it and added it to the list of profiles. Love learning new stuff here. Good night

looks quite different, left embedded, right adobe color

No you should use embedded as it also handles the in camera correction data not just colour

What correction data? The lens correction is independent of the profile data.

Embedded profile is what it says - embedded in the raw file, and originates from Leica. Adobe Standard (incl. 2) is also specific for that camera, but originates from Adobe.

The correct profile is the profile that produces the result you want.
