Surprised me !! 1
Advertisement Posted December 5, 2023 Posted December 5, 2023 Hi jim sink, Take a look here Perspective control using new Leica sl 14-24. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
huwm Posted December 6, 2023 Share #2 Â Posted December 6, 2023 Same with the Lumix 14-28 I just swapped for the 16-35 in any case as 14 not really needed for my uses

Surprised me !! Does it disable the perspective correction guides in the camera? Is the JPEG not corrected? What happens when you apply perspective correction manually? Maybe the angle data is not precise enough for 14mm?

I checked it with my 14-24 Panasonic, and it behaves the same way: wider than 16mm, LPC does not work and cannot be applied in post either. Somebody should let Leica know and ask whether it works as intended or is a bug.
Mak67 Posted December 8, 2023 Share #6  Posted December 8, 2023 Leica will probably make a firmware update, you should tell them about this.

Adam with LeicaMiami told me he would ask the  engineers about this. 1

Looks like the 14-24 on the SL3 behaves the same way. No perspective control under 16mm.
Manicouagan1 Posted June 18, 2024 Share #9 Â Posted June 18, 2024 Same behavior with SL3 and Sigma branded 14-24, cutoff about 16mm. Â
