Elmar's pictures were taken with a Pre-Announcement, presumably pre-production M11-P, so maybe they do now deserve their own thread.  But the 11-Ps now have arrived in a flood, at least in North America.  I opened mine and charged the battery last night.  I try to buy from Popflash, a non-Leica store that I have used for many years.  Usually they are weeks behind the Leica stores in getting the newest products in quantity, so I got mine through another channel.  But this time they called with a camera available only a few hours after mine had arrived.  Somebody give them a call.

It's like having a thread for the black M11 and another for the silver M11.

Startup is the same as with the M11 - too slow, but no change. Charging problems (it was not displayed by the green LED) that the charging had begun, is fixed.

I have pre-tested the firmware 2.0.1. I didn't have any freezes, Leica again fixed some of the causes. But of course that is no guarantee. You won't know how well Leica has done until a lot of people use it.

You cannot see anything. You have to look at it on the verify website to get informations. There is a video from the Australian Leica shop in which You can see how it looks.

Download one of my photos above and upload it to verify.

CC is switched on for my pictures above as well.  It is the only way in the M11-P to put your artist or copyright string into the dng and the resulting jpeg.  Since I didn't process the images in Adobe tools, I'll have to look to see if the copyright claim has been removed as it passed through Capture One.  You can download my images from Flickr and see.

Downloaded a few of your photos from Flickr, and a few from Elmar as posted in this thread. Dropped them on the content verification webpage, none is reported as having CC attached.

In my view, if this is correct and not changed, Content Credentials would be largely worthless. Photos are uploaded and distributed on the Internet. Therefore, especially with such images, it should remain traceable who created them and whether they have been changed.

My .dng files show their credentials when dragged into the verify site, but the jpg's do not.  That is to be expected, because I process them in Capture One, which is not involved in this initiative. @elmars, do you use Adobe tools to render your shots into .jpgs?

Yes, I used Lightroom. I may have an idea why it doesn't work. Content credentials are only saved when exporting with Lightroom (mobile) or Photoshop, but not with LR classic. I used Lightroom for my experiments with Verify, but probably LR classic for the JPG I uploaded here.

Is this intended like this or just a temporary solution until the next upgrade of LR classic?

Unfortunately, I don't know. But all in all, Content Credentials is still in a kind of beta phase. So I assume that LR Classic will get it as well. Anything else would not make sense.

all this does make it largerly useless for now.

Should be embeded in away that it doesn't matter of the editing app is compliant or not. Even if you cant see the edits you should be able to trace the image back

Image export is a crucial part of the Content Credentials implementation. It is a very new tool and the functionality is not yet complete. The image processing programs are responsible for this. The more cameras there are with Content Credentials, the more programs will implement it. But already now you can work well with it, even if you want to do the editing in Lightroom. You then pass the images to Photoshop for export.
