Lovely. Beautiful picture.

And welcome to my favorite park (its in my backyard). Hope you enjoyed the visit. I have taken disproportionate number of pictures in this park compared to other places. :D

I have used Tri-X in Yosemite and it looks just great. I guess the grain adds to the beauty (rocks and pines). When I first used then I was worried about resolution but after looking at the results I realized that resolution doesn't matter. It is just the "look" that looks great.

Great camera for Yosemite! I'll watch for your posts.

I'll post them as soon as I get home in a few weeks.  We visit Yosemite three or more times a year even though we live in Washington state.  It is on our way to and from my father-in-law in SoCal.  He will be 101 in November but he still makes the trip with us, so we will be camping with him this trip, too.  He still pulls his 5th wheel. Amazing guy and good photographer, too.  We are off on Saturday.

Your father-in-law sounds like a very impressive guy!! Kudos to him.

I won't hijack your thread with my photos, but we just got back yesterday so will start posting a few on the Q3 photo thread.  Here is the link:

I hope to see more of your Yosemite photos here.  I saw quite a few film cameras and even a few Leicas while there.

Thanks for letting me know. It's a beautiful image. Will you be posting others in the same place or perhaps in the Travel & Landscape section of the Photo Forum? You might even consider posting them in both places.
