I hope you will understand I want to be constructive and positive :)
Due to the spotlight straight towards the sensor, you could shut the diaphragm (yes !) to gain details in the hair after the eyes (DOF). Here you have a good focus on the sleeve, but useless.
You might correct the gamma to get rid of the orange tone on her face. What is the color of her eyes ?
Just my two cents, because I am sure these views deserve it 👋

Both portraits would be great without the spotlight being directly visible...too strong and disturbing for me.

Thank you both for giving time to respond to the photos, @Lelmer for some it was disturbing but at the time i took these photos that was what i intended to capture, but mind you i have some others which the spotlight was well hidden

@Dantist thank you, whenever i have the chance i would always shot it widest open, i always prefer the looks of it, hence the noctilux, but i have some other shots which when i used the apo summicron and stopped down f2.8 to get more DOF, i might post it some other time

what came to mind when i posted these, was because in my point of view, these were the finest out of the bunch

I always like the way how you use the light to create really a wonderful mood!

Thank’s mate, we all learnt a lot from the community, might not be the best place, but you are one of few whom always inspired my portraits photography

I like these just as the are. Great use of the lighting and something different for a change.

Thanks Marc, glad you like it too
