fotografr Posted June 25, 2023 Share #1 Posted June 25, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) We have a large Thai community in my city and they treat us to several of their beautiful celebrations. About 20 years ago, the Thai people gave us a pavilion that is one of just 14 in the world, and the only one in the USA. Today they held what is called a Sala Thai Festival held to celebrate the 190th anniversary of US - Thai diplomatic relations. Much of the celebration consisted of music and dance. stuny Posted June 26, 2023 Share #2 Posted June 26, 2023 A wonderful set. We're always interested in seeing other cultures' dance, and the two things that strike us about Thai dancing are the angular poses of hands and feet (vs. more organic in western dance), and eye movement. I'll bet you have some very good Thai restaurants in Madison.
Lelmer Posted June 26, 2023 Share #3 Posted June 26, 2023 Very nice series, Brent. Preference for the two last ones 👍

I agree with you about the dance movements. Very angular but also very graceful. We have some great Thai restaurants here. One that I particularly like and where I've gotten to know the owner is called Monsoon Siam.

Louis Posted June 26, 2023 Share #6 Posted June 26, 2023 I love the set and the tonality. Now, you should get a Q3M for your collection of monochrome Leica’s!

I had a Q2M for a while and went right back to the M10M.
