End for the MP and MA ?

The MP and MA have disappeared from the Leica online catalog (Leica M section) in favor of the M6 alone. End of official production for these two devices?

  I would expect that as long as people keep buying them, Leica will keep making them.

The other cameras are still on the various national sites (including UK, US and Germany), but harder to find. If you start at leica-camera.com, click on the 3-line 'hamburger' menu on the top right, and navigate to Photography->Leica M-System, only the M11 and M6 have top-level menu entries. But if you then click on Overview->Cameras, you can see the others. Obviously the M11 and the M6 are the cameras Leica are pushing hardest at the moment, but the whole site design is worse since the most recent 'style over substance' makeover, with some things harder to locate and others (like older PDF manuals) gone altogether.

I'm not sure I'd read too much into what could just be a gaff in the implementation of the web site.  It's been known to be rather, um, inaccurate at times.

Let's say I put two apples in front of you.  You know they are both apples.  They look the same, they smell the same, they taste the same.  But then I call one of them a pear and put a red sticker on it.  Now you have one apple and one pear.  And then I say that is the last apple, we have stopped growing apples.  All that you can now get is that pear with the little red sticker.

That's how I would feel if this was real.
