comte de Mazan Posted April 10, 2023 Share #1  Posted April 10, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) The MP and MA have disappeared from the Leica online catalog (Leica M section) in favor of the M6 alone. End of official production for these two devices? Anbaric Posted April 10, 2023 Share #10 Â Posted April 10, 2023 (edited) The other cameras are still on the various national sites (including UK, US and Germany), but harder to find. If you start at leica-camera.com, click on the 3-line 'hamburger' menu on the top right, and navigate to Photography->Leica M-System, only the M11 and M6 have top-level menu entries. But if you then click on Overview->Cameras, you can see the others. Obviously the M11 and the M6 are the cameras Leica are pushing hardest at the moment, but the whole site design is worse since the most recent 'style over substance' makeover, with some things harder to locate and others (like older PDF manuals) gone altogether. This link should work anywhere and redirect to your local site: https://leica-camera.com/photography/cameras/m Edited April 10, 2023 by Anbaric

jaapv Posted April 10, 2023 Share #12 Â Posted April 10, 2023 It wouldnot be surprising. If I were Leica I would offer one base model (M6new) and a-la-carte configuration. At a price.
Huss Posted April 10, 2023 Share #13 Â Posted April 10, 2023 As long as they keep making the M7, I'm fine.

logan2z Posted April 10, 2023 Share #16  Posted April 10, 2023 I'm not sure I'd read too much into what could just be a gaff in the implementation of the web site. It's been known to be rather, um, inaccurate at times.

Huss Posted April 11, 2023 Share #20 Â Posted April 11, 2023 Let's say I put two apples in front of you. Â You know they are both apples. Â They look the same, they smell the same, they taste the same. Â But then I call one of them a pear and put a red sticker on it. Â Now you have one apple and one pear. Â And then I say that is the last apple, we have stopped growing apples. Â All that you can now get is that pear with the little red sticker. That's how I would feel if this was real.
