Out for a walk this morning. Overcast clouds with the occasional shaft of sunlight, as here. MM plus 7Artisans 50mm 1.1. I resisted the temptation to increase contrast, leaving it pretty much as the camera caught it, just a slight lift in shadows, iirc.

This is too close for comfort for me, Tim, having just lost my mother-in-law of a similar vintage. I assume you were related somehow? If so I'm sorry for your loss. 

 

What makes the shot for me - in a surprising way - is the smiling girl face on the bag. It's there as if remembering her youth. Well, that's how I see it. A good, sensitive shot.

Thanks, Rob.  My thoughts exactly re: the girl on the bag.  Youth.  Yes, she's my mother-in-law and that's my wife.  93 wonderful years.
