lincoln_m Posted March 25, 2008 Share #41 Â Posted March 25, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Wolfgang, Maybe I'm being a little thick? What is the CS? Camera Shop? It sounds quite magic that you can ask for changes to a standard camera without the ala Cart extra fees. Is this because you live near Solms? If you use your M7 so much and you are not a Pro-Photographer, what do you shoot? Perhaps not landscapes? I quickly run out of local places to visit again and again. Â Regards, Lincoln

fotografr Posted March 26, 2008 Share #42 Â Posted March 26, 2008 I have two M6s and an M8, so I put my M7 up for sale in the classified section a couple of days ago. After reading this thread, I'm thinking maybe I don't care if it sells or not. They really are great cameras.

If you have an idea for your personal "a la card for poor people" you should ask them for the costs. The black dot is free of charge, for the vulcanite cover and another winding lever you have to pay.  Here you can see what I shoot:  LFI Gallery - Galerie > Fotografen-Galerie > leicavit   Regards Wolfgang

Brent- I don't have other film Leicas to compare, but of all my cameras present or past (M8,D3, D2Hs, D1H, D2x,S2, S3, kodak 14nx) it is my favorite. By the way, most of those cameras are long gone. keep it my friend. ;>) best...Peter

biglouis Posted February 17, 2010 Share #48 Â Posted February 17, 2010 Since I added a Motor M to my M7 I like it even more. Just feels right in the hand and I actually like the extra heft of the drive. A truly professional feeling piece of camera equipment.

innerimager Posted February 18, 2010 Share #50 Â Posted February 18, 2010 Love mine so much I got another. Added to my chrome 0.72 is a black 0.85. Both with motor winders which I agree is excellent ergonomically and makes for a blazing capture machine when needed. I use my 75 lux (lmost always) and F1 Noctilux (rarely) preferentially on the 0.85 body, and the 35 and 50 FLs on the 0.72. best...Peter

Adsten Posted April 22, 2010 Share #60  Posted April 22, 2010 Had a M6 classic a for a couple of years. Was very happy with it, but longed for the A-mode. Sold the M6 with a kit of lenses. Tried the Contax G2. Though I never were very satisfied with autofocus. Kept on using it for a while because of the fine lenses. All of a sudden I found a good deal at the often visited camera shop here in Stockholm. So bye, bye G2 and Hello M7 + a pre Asph 35 lux. Used it, so far, on a daily bases and I could only say that I've found my very favourite.   Regards  Mats
