Thanks If you get the same warranty as new and the camera looks and works as good as new I don't see why not. But it would depend on what the camera was used for - display but not demo, sure. As a demo model maybe not because those might have been used a lot more. I'd expect an ex demos savings to be more than 200quid (I might be tempted if I saved 500!)
jankap Posted October 6, 2022 Share #4 Posted October 6, 2022 It depends on the total sum, but in principle yes. What would you expect from the newer model?
lucy63 Posted October 6, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted October 6, 2022 It was ex demo.. I decided to wait for a new one. Apologies for the extremely dull question. 🙄
geotrupede Posted October 6, 2022 Share #6 Posted October 6, 2022 used = must be a significant reduction. new is 7600 so maybe 10 - 20% reduction ok. less I would not bother. G>

ravinj Posted October 21, 2022 Share #8 Posted October 21, 2022 (edited) I got my new sealed-in-box M11 from a EU Leica dealer for $1,500 less than the full US retail price. Shipped to my door in the USA, 2 day delivery. No customs, no brokerage fees. With the Euro:USD rate it turned out to be a pretty good deal.
