All the while I was photographing Albert, he sang songs from Québec, my birthplace.

« Moi, mes souliers» (Felix Leclerc). Un phoque en Alaska (Beau Dommage). I sang along with him.

Albert is 82 years old and has a «joie de vivre»

Really nice, Carl. The home and setting look beautiful. How is his voice?

Cheers,

Brent

Thank you Brent. His voice? Soft, not loud. The home is the villa where Salgado stays when in Bali.

Really beautiful.  You probably don't hear much of that on Java

Hi Stuart. I do miss hearing French. In Java, most people speak Javanese. A very difficult language to learn ( for me). Merci. A bientôt. Carl.

Hahaha,

That French is not really “French”, but a word by word translation of English with French words. But so charming. 😉😄

Great portrait of Albert with very warm colors as, I am sure, his voice is. 👍

Did you know that French was the official language of England for 300 years (1066-1362). Thank you for your comment Louis. Albert is a very charming person. Such joie de vivre he has. Merci. Carl.
