The rescue vehicle. Just rented this for a week. Two 500 mile trips into South Dakota to gather up my sister-in-law who has heavy dementia and some of her belongings. Sad.

Well done, Albert. A good deed, indeed.

old village of Westerholt  in Herten-Germany from around 1700.
the village is still inhabited, not a museum, but a rare monument in our area
(our favourite restaurant in our neighbourhood)

This one is a real beauty, and works a treat in B&W.  Framing, with the dark clouds, the foreground posts, the bare bushes, all wonderful.  Nice and sharp with excellent contrast.

Who needs an M11?

I agree! Beautifully composed and edited @RickP 👌

I was just thinking that this is the shot that would frustrate development software: how could you possibly get a consistent vertical along this street!

It was 4 degrees F this am.  I just received my 18-50 Sigma f 2.8 Zoom.  I must admit, I am amazed at the build quality, light weight, smooth zoom operation and the image quality.  Really quite sharp at f 2.8 and there doesn't seem to be much need to  go up in f stops other than for greater depth of field.  The color rendition is just fine.  Of course I am stuck inside due to the temperature, this is just one of the first test shots I took while strolling  around the house.
