Things I find in my backyard and when I need to unwind after a day at work, I shoot what comes along LOL

The second image is of a kind of a local pine cone with a seed inside.

This was taken with the 23mm f/2 TL. It was very windy with sea spray and salt. The CL was amazing!  Shooting it like a rangefinder and having the AF really was useful as I needed to watch for rouge waves close to my position. 

 

Particularly like the b&w version - the juxtaposition of the power of the sea and the isolation of the lighthouse seem to be all the more impactful. Did you use any post processing?

Thank you for the comment. I think I like the B/W too. The Leica sensor does really nicely with the tonality and luminance of B/W. I adjusted the photo using mostly exposure and contrast and de saturating the color. I'm eager to get a half case or grip for better handling. The camera was approximately 10-15 feet over the ocean! The waves were in the 20 + foot range that day.
