No, no tripod. This was the best of several at this location - all the rest had unattractive motion blur - the blur in the conductor's hands here is just about OK (he bobs and weaves a bit!).

I was given a 15 minute slot for photography during rehearsal - they are a bit protective!

You used to be able to take photos in there, now it's banned! Did you know there is one day a year when you can apply for entry on a photography day? I think it's in April. I must make an effort to find out this year.

EDIT: So as I posted this I went to the website to try and find out about the day and guess what? They've lifted the photography ban. https://www.stpauls.co.uk/visits/visits/photography-policy

It was odd: the instructions (to visiting choirs) said 'no photography', and there were 'no photo' signs up in much of the nave, but other signage said just no photos during services. A bit ambivalent.

A bit of Googling reveals that they changed the rules last June. Perhaps the signage hasn't yet caught up?

Hi Al,

did you received my private message about my error? I got no copy of my message by the system!  At some points the tools of LUF-Forum seems to me a little bit strange? Thanks for a response your LUF-friend

That's lovely! Here is a similar effort of mine, trying to take advantage of a rare moment of stillness!

This is in Minneapolis's City Center. I posted photographs of this mural a few years ago taken with a DMC-LX100. Today, LEICA CL 18-56.

I took 25 shots in freezings temps so please forgive me if I post two or three more.
