I just found it to be pretty. Should anyone know the name, please let us now. As M10 (bottom of previous page said) it is a type of Hydrangea. I always call them Lacecap Hydrangea's. We have a beautiful one in our garden, depending on soil type goes from Blue to Deep Pink and ours changes colour as the blooms fade but it has a really lovely deep purple woody stem. Couple of photo's here - top one is from a few weeks ago when it was looking it's best, second I just took now when it is really coming to the end of its flowering and colours have faded. If you want to look them up try Zorro Lacecap Hyrdrangea - Monrovia. Both CL with 90mm Summicron. Welcome, dear visitor! Lacecap is how we know them, too, in the U.S. Soil makes the differences in colors, and one can add lime to turn them pink, coffee grounds to turn them blue. They are great dried, too: keep forever.

HeinzX Posted August 11, 2019 Share #6567 Posted August 11, 2019 Advertisement (gone after registration) The blossoms of this kind of hibiscus are real giants . Their size ist bigger than 2 hands of a man. I did not know before , that some kinds of hibiscus have such big blossoms. Therefore the CL with the 90/280 was enough to take this photo, which is uncropped. Welcome, dear visitor!
