As terrible as the outcome, one of your final carefree moments together came from her love and kindness. The concert must have very special meaning. Best wishes, Ken Hi Ken, thanks for your warming words. I had only one complaint on the audience; the buhs when Sinéad O’Connor appeared on stage to perform. She coudn't start her song and after her monologue she left the stage with no song but tears in her eyes. Hopefully Kris Kristofferson gave her a heart and Neil Young saved the situation with "All Along the watchtower..."

That was very sad. Neil Young was truly amazing. Such a different talent from Dylan's and yet so near at the same time. My first musical love is classical, but the amount of talent and genius coming out of the 60s in rock is just breathtaking.

Hi Ken, I can't believe, I'm too love classical ; all operas and all the great classic artist, except our german Wagner. I had unforgettable concerts at the Met or in Boston, in Vienna, in Frankfurt, in Berlin, in Stockholm, in Verona, Salzburg, Budapest ...all with my dead wife. RIP, Beloved Ute. That's extraordinary, Fred: such cultural richness. Do you know that a bunch of us LUF members are meeting in NY at the end of March for 3 days of photography? Some of us are having dinner together on Friday night, but go our separate ways other evenings. My wife and I are seeing Tosca with the incomparable Anna Netrebko. Any chance you might be able to join us for photography and fun that weekend?

tommonego@gmail.com Posted January 9, 2020 Share #8066 Posted January 9, 2020 River Ice, was crossing the Connecticut River on the bridge at the end of our road, looked down, couldn't believe all the swirls and patterns. The river is just refreezing, saw someone skating on it just before the holidays. CL 35 Summilux Canada Welcome, dear visitor! Please explain to my why the left is on the right, the right is on the left, the top is on the bottom, and the bottom is on the top but only in the amber colored liquid area of the photograph? Simple lenses, of which a glass of wine is one, ALWAYS invert the image - it's basic optics - the same if you were to use a large format camera: the image you'd see on the ground glass screen would be inverted. Digital cameras kindly straighten it out in the EVF or on the LCD. IN film cameras, the image is re-inverted during printing.

I've never seen him perform though so I'm jealous :-(

Spoiler alert: Rolling Stone Magazine published a "cheat sheet" on how to watch it. If you want, I can probably find the link.
