Did you see Jono's review of the lens? He loves it with the Panny S1. Interested in knowing what you think, though to my mind it's pretty heavy.

Hi @bags27.  I like it and yet, as nice as this dog photo I posted is, in the main I feel a little something is missing versus the 90-280.  However, mostly I'm quite happy, as it checks a lot of boxes:  1) I wanted more reach and on the CL with 2X teleconverter this is ~600mm.  2) easier to handle, smaller than the 90-280.  3) a lot cheaper.

thanks much for this! There is a teleconverter for this zoom? that'd be an interesting thing for me as well.

 I took my CL with the little 18mm lens to the South Downs yesterday whilst visiting Charleston. Considering the time of day and the bright sun the camera took some lovely pics.
