Jdphoto Posted March 17, 2018 Share #1044  Posted March 17, 2018 A few quick images taken at approximately 3500 feet in strong wind and blowing snow. The CL has been so much fun to shoot with. These were underexposed, but not intentionally. The wind was so strong it made fingers quite cold using the 50mm 1.4 M lens, so a quick zone focus was the best idea...I think. The 50mm 1.4 M at f/11 showed amazing detail even at 100% crop. I measured something like 54 inches on the long side when viewed this way and I could count branches on trees miles away. Welcome, dear visitor! You have great colors and a superb framing.  But be careful; don't take too much risk. The way you described this place, it reminded me of a scene from the British suspense movies of the 50s! I hope there are not bad people wandering around... Also, don't forget you had a bad cold! Edited March 20, 2018 by Louis
