I don't think it has been recently produced. They have them in warehouse and release them in batches. Meanwhile, congratulation! I got mine in march and I still got myself just watching it. It is superb in estethic and functionality. Here is in "company" with M 240 and lenses - 35 APO, 28 Summilux, 50 Summilux and 75 Summarit.

Would you mind sharing what brand and model case that is, and how did you get the cutouts so perfect? Thanks!

It's Italian brand HPRC. They produce "cases" for different purposes, and yes, you can customize interior. Here is the link:

Some honest to god brassing, no sandpaper necessary. All around I've found the finish to be very hard wearing, and lovely to the feel.

Mine is coming up on a year and has not even a hint of brassing. Just scratches.

Update:

Mine just arrived. Directly shipped from Germany even though I ordered it on Leica France on-line store. At least it's confirmed now that it's still in production, unlike some of the previous information that I got from local Leica boutique employees that they're all gone.

First thing I did was take off all the stickers from the bottom. Feels so much better. Can’t wait for it to show the brass.

for the battery info sticker I used Contact Cleaner

Ah! Spoke too soon. Didn’t even noticed the ISO dial is JUST starting to brass. Weird since I never touch that thing.

The ISO dial brasses first because of the strap rubbing against if hanging over the shoulder.

I was wondering whether I should take off the CE sticker when I saw this. lol

Strangely I prefer the bottom plate of M9. Partly because I used it for 11 years so my muscle memory. was built upon it, but I do find the pull-pin of M10-R a tad small and the turn a bit too limited. M-A gave me almost the same feeling as M9 so I have no issue jumping between the two. M10-R will take some time getting used to.

Thank god we can remove that sticker. The M11 has an indentation. Like it has a place of honor for that stupid sticker. The M11 bottom is atrocious.

take it out and liberate your camera.

Sitting in a small Dutch Café and just adoring this flaming pièce de résistance, its glossy shine and the majestic Bauhaus appearance with matching 28mm lens in black paint. It is in use every day, has clocked almost 40K images in a year since last July and - apart from an odd jam once or twice - never crapped out on me.
M11 in BP? Yes please.
