To protect the burros from flies and other biting insects I've purchased donkey fly masks for my burros.

Not sure if the mask is to keep the insects off the face and ears or to scare the bugs away.  😊

I've been around equines since I was about 7, but I've never seen fly masks.  Not a bad idea.  How well do they tolerate putting then on and having them on.

Interesting, amusing, nice photo.

Amazingly the burros and horses tolerate them well. Putting the mask on the first time is a rodeo. After that they seem to like not having flies and other insects on their face and eyes and just let you slip the mask on. It's funny looking on the burros with their long ears.
