I have LCD/EVF set to Auto. The Visoflex is quick to recognize my eye and switch on but it doesn't switch back to the LCD after putting the camera down and well away from any eye. Not sure if I need to change some other setting or push some other button. Not great functionality if not... Appreciate any suggestions.

I can't get it to work. I have updated the firmware and reset the camera. The V becomes actively quickly when my eye goes to it but it takes about 15-20 seconds for the LCD to become active after reverting.

Did you try to clean the contacts on the Visoflex and the hot shoe?

I did clean the eye sensor. But I have now cleaned the contacts and it is better than it was (thanks) but it is still not as quick to revert to the LCD than it is switching to the EVF. The camera and V are brand new. Maybe I will another clean with some alcohol this time; at the end of all of this, I may need to drink some too.

Yes, I would say clean contacts as it seems the camera doesn't register that the EVF is on (if the EVF is not pushed into the contacts, that is the result also). Could also be the EVF you got has contacts not mounted precisely enough.

These eye sensors are generic electronic parts and not infallible. If you cannot get it to work properly contact your dealer to try another example
