The same barred owl that I had difficulty shooting a few days earlier (

).  This time there were not twigs or leaves between the bird and us.

Wonderful to see!  

Looking at your earlier capture, he's really picked his spot, blends in nicely with the silver birch (I think) bark and leaves, could be missed easily, anyway, lovely and thanks for sharing.
