I want to see some film photos with this thing.

Somebody dust off their old Barnack and run a short roll through!

here you go! Using the ltm with 35mm framelines, no issues at all. Great rendering, can't tell it apart from any other lens when shooting street. The tiny size makes for a great travel lens!

I agree with LCT's suggestion because there are many lens variants.  This is not the serial number off the front ring this is the lens 'model' number that is shown on the box that the lens comes in.

For example the black 50/1.4 Summilux asph's model number is 11891.

Pete.

Added. Great suggestion. Do you guys like the format? This can be changed, other things like accessories etc can be added very easily.

Did you post this in the wrong thread by any chance? 🤔😄  (Been there, done that.)

Same here, but I lost interest altogether once I found out the aperture ring rotates with the focus ring 🙄

This lens will not be easy to use on Leica Film Camera (Metered) M6... MP. You have to infinity lock, then adjust aperture and meter for correct exposure , release infinity and focus. OR fixed the aperture, and play with the shuttle speed for correct exposure then focus.

pretty easy to use in my MP. Then again, all my other Leica lenses have infinity locks :p

My Barnack IIIa syn is in revision as the long times don't work properly anymore, but I think it might be better to train with a digital Leica M first before wasting film.
Therefore some photos from the first day with the new Voigtländer Heliar 2.8-40mm ltm.

This photo may hide some sense of humor for those who remember Konrad Adenauer was the first Chancellor of the young Federal Republic of Germany after WW II.
