First photos with a new M11.  It here was a 2” diameter orange on the table I unpacked the camera on.

First one with a 90mm Macro Elmar at about f5.6 or f8

Second with 35mm Summicron at f8

Both on a macro adapter that I happened to have close at hand.

Vikas too much detail and resolution, sorry no good take it back   LOL

I have to say that with the macro extender I really missed a Visoflex 2, which I don’t have yet.  It was a strictly tripod and live view on the LCD affair.

I was trying some R-lenses on the M11.  The 60 and 100 Macro-Elmarits, and this one, the 35-70mm Vario-Elmar-R.  Maybe the a bit less satisfying than the other two, but under many circumstances likeable enough.  This quick test showed me how the M11 menus handle uncoded lens selection.  When an R lens is mounted, the camera reports the R->M adapter.  If you select this adapter from the Manual R menu, you're offered the chance to edit the list of R lenses.  Once you've selected one or more of those, you can then select the lens of your choice from that menu.  The camera then reports that this lens is mounted.  However, after power down, the camera forgets your selections and upon power up, you need to start over.  However, if you create a User Profile with the edited lens list, it is remembered by that profile.

I am in love with my new (well, used - but new to me) WATE on the M11. It has a way of rendering a sort of calm order onto some very chaotic subject matter. I've lots of shots that show how razor sharp it is to the edges at F8 and ISO64 and it's great at that but it's also really good at F4 and dusk and higher ISO stuff, without getting flustered. Three from this evening... ISO 200, 200 and 350 at 16mm.

EDIT: there is so much detail in these that exporting them to the forum required dimensions turns them to mush so you'll just have to imagine how subtle and detailed the originals look on my monitor!

Very well seen and captured. Perhaps a bit more brightness.

Thank you. I like this image a lot too, more than any my more popular ones shown here.

I agree with you and understand about brightness could be higher. Sometimes, I feel there is no right or wrong on how the exposure should be but how the images preserve the moment in life of my memory. That was a dark foggy late afternoon at Northern California beach.  Thanks again for comment.
