Here are some captured from my recent trip to Paris. I captured some of my favorite shots during these days. I’ll be sharing some more soon.

I just got a 50mm Summicron V1 - collapsible. Optics are pretty good (no scratches) but focus is really stiff - needs service. Should I keep it? Thinking about sending it back - as I paid extra for the good glass without knowing about the focus issue...

I would keep the lens, only on the condition that the seller will bear the cost of CLA for the lens.
Another thing, I don't think Leica recommends collapsible lenses for the M11 camera.

From my first outing with my new M11 Monochrom.

Manchester's Cooperative Insurance Society building, now empty and for sale.  For many years it was the tallest building in Manchester, but no longer.  🙂

The glow in the first photo is excellent.
I agree with Jeri, if the seller covers the CLA or at least splits the cost with you for not disclosing the issue.

I would keep it. It's very easy to service, but it's not easy to find a clean optic without cleaning marks on the front or even a rear element.

If the focus is accurate, optics are clean and cosmetics are this good, the servicing of a stiff focus is trivial. But thats just me.

I agree - I can’t bring myself to return it. As a plus, the focus has loosened up a little from use, as though maybe it had been sitting on a shelf for a long time. I’ll get it serviced and call it good!
