Hard to imagine that a flip screen can be "das wesentliche" enough for M cameras and given the omission of the CL, i suspect the survey is intended for the next SL in the first place. Would be interesting to know the answers but i suspect that compactness is the main wish. Leica did it with the help of Minolta in the eighties/nineties already. R4 to R7 cameras were almost as compact as M cameras then. Leica will redo it alone or with the help of Panasonic or Sigma hopefully.

Given that both flippy screens and wireless charging are hardly 'Das Wesentliche', I wonder if Leica is planning the adaptation of a Panasonic (or ANO) body, and pondering whether certain elements would be anathema to Leica users.

Thanks for posting. The survey is now closed so I missed it. Leica probably received a lot of input already. Looking forward to what a SL3 could be.
