The second image stands out for me because you can actually see the butterfly sucking up the nectar. What lens and camera are you using? The black in the wings & the red of the plant looks like the lens was a135mm f4 Tele-Elmar. Brent, I measure it 7" to the lens cap, and 7 1/4" including the lens cap.
