This one was made with the Elmarit Macro 60 R on the M10R with table tripod. It was a bit arranged, if that's a criterium for a still life and I wonder if it wouldn't have been better if I had left the arrangements.

This is a still life of the type I mostly make: a sort of 'objets trouvés', a situation that just strikes me, I don"t know why, I do not arrange anything, rather the "don't touch it!" magic idea and I just compose and choose the viewing point in line with what I saw in the first place.

With the Summicron 35 iv on the M10R.

Must the photographer do the arranging?

I like the interpretation of Otto.f in the photos above.  Perhaps this would be considered another example of "found still life".

Still life images work equally well with arrangements that just catch the photographer's eye and with arrangements that are set up. Neither have more validity than the other. It's the viewer who has the final say.
