jaeger Posted June 22, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 22, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Bought a Peak Design Cuff to secure the camera from falling off. I can't the the anchor thru the camera's eyelet lug but I've seen internet photos that people did it without the triangle. What's the trick?
Advertisement Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Hi jaeger, Take a look here PD anchors can't get thru M240 eyelet lug. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaeger Posted June 22, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted June 22, 2021 PS. these are V4 anchors.
Decimusmaximus7 Posted June 22, 2021 Share #3 Posted June 22, 2021 I believe I used the point of a safety pin to force the fabric through.
jaapv Posted June 22, 2021 Share #4 Posted June 22, 2021 That’s an easy one. Use a loop of Dental Floss to pull them through. 3

I left the dental floss on the table and my wife yelled at me "disgusting!" 🤷♂️
thatkatmat Posted June 30, 2021 Share #7 Posted June 30, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) To the OP....I spent almost an hour trying to get mine through that darn little hole, with the lug slanted and nowhere to get a good grip...MAN...frustrating! Then I see this post. I love this site...
Datsch Posted July 2, 2021 Share #8 Posted July 2, 2021 (edited) I had been mulling a wrist strap for my 'new' M-D but hadn't seen the PD one before -- so I got one, many thanks to @jaeger and of course top marks to @jaapv for the dental floss trick, it made it the work of a few seconds! Worth watching the PD video on the Cuff as it has quite a few subtle and useful features, as well as exquisite and clever packaging ... It now all fits just fine in my Lowepro Format 100 bag (with Voigt 50mm 1.5 ii) and much more suits my way of working than a neck strap (as a 'path photographer' rather than street I am often brushing up against undergrowth or literally going through hedges backwards to access an interesting plant or flower, so for me it's take shot, then back in bag) Welcome, dear visitor! jaeger Posted July 3, 2021 Author Share #9 Posted July 3, 2021 I reckon I grab the lens barrel with my left hand so I just switched the anchor from right side to the left. Made the switch in 10 seconds, it would be impossible without this trick.
